Michael is truly a “change-agent” and has a stellar track record in multiple industries. His accomplishments in financial planning and analysis, restructuring, workouts and a multitude of other disciplines make him a versatile executive with sharp strategic and financial instincts. His stellar career includes assignments as an interim CFO/Controller in manufacturing, software, education and service organizations ranging in size from $20M to $200M. He has also held the position of Treasurer of a $1.4B retailer where he led a complicated restructuring and helped drive its successful privatization. Michael has performed valuations and M&A transactions across a broad array of industries and is a man of a "full portfolio".
Michael is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant), CFM (Certified Financial Manager), and a CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional). Michael is also a member, Board member and/or associate of over ten organizations where he has contributed on multiple fronts.
Michael earned his MBA in Finance from New York University and his MAcc in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University.
