Dan Walsh is an experienced Executive with over 30 years of relevant C-Level and advisory experience. Dan has been a leader in the successful turnaround and restructuring of several companies, developing rapid action plans and generating outstanding results for his clients. Dan has deep industry expertise in manufacturing, distribution, financial and service companies.
Before founding BMP:
- Dan successfully led a defense company with three separate business units from negative EBITDA to positive ($5M+) EBITDA in less than two years. Dan began in an adivsory role as CRO, then led the firm through a successful sale to a foreign strategic buyer.
- As President of First Choice Armor & Equipment (a leading body armor manufacturer), Dan drove top line growth from $8M to $85M before a successful exit.
- Dan was the CFO of Richelieu Foods, a $120M food manufacturer of private label pizza and pourable dressings (a turnaround project for a Private Equity sponsor). Dan restructured plants, developed detailed costing models and hedge strategies for raw materials and successfully placed a $50M+ asset based loan with Wells Fargo Commercial Credit, providing much needed liquidity. The Company was successfully sold.
Dan is a former KPMG CPA and received his Accounting Degree from Babson College where he also served as an Adjunct Professor in accounting.
