Rod Robertson is a veteran of over 75 sell and buy side mergers and acquisitions across a wide range of industries. Rod is a growth and turnaround specialist, and has positioned over 30 firms for a subsequent transaction. Rod currently coaches multiple CEO’s on pre and post sale management issues and works with Boards of Directors in aligning operations to maximize the future Enterprise Value of their holdings. Rod also specializes in streamlining organizations to bolster EBITDA by practicing “lean” management techniques. Rod often works with management to reposition and reduce work forces.
Rod is currently the Managing Partner of Briggs Capital, a Boston based Mergers & Acquisition firm that operates globally. The firm has been active in 15 countries and provides a full suite of M&A services as well as strategic consulting. Rod has recently written a well received book, "Winning at Entrepreneurship", with the main thesis of "Avoiding the Highway to Business Hell". Rod continues to be a frequent guest lecturer at the Babson and Harvard MBA programs as well as other institutions globally. He Is the former owner of a distribution company that he successfully exited, and is a co-partner of multiple enterprises.
